The journey to create our wonderful body butters, body balms, hair pomades, shampoos and soaps began when I developed a nasty scalp condition due to chemical hair processing, which was made worse when using mass-produced hair products which claimed to be “natural, conditioning and healing". I was horrified that the condition worsened when using these products that I decided to investigate the ingredients in these commercial products. What I learned shocked me and led to the discovery that I was inadvertently buying products that were greatly contributing to my scalp problems.
My lovely parents have developed an extensive working knowledge and experience of the healing benefits in the world of herbs, organic foods and oils, gained over at least thirty years, so the quest of developing a range of skin and hair care products, using their knowledge and skills, for all my family began in earnest.
When our friends and their families found out about our natural products, they too began placing orders. Before long, family run, Actually Naturally was born.
We now make our delightful skin and hair care for all, ensuring all our ingredients are 100% natural (meaning they are not synthetic in any way) and that our products are freshly made, wrapped and labelled by hand, and then delivered straight to your door, so you can enjoy them at their best.
We do not use SLS or SLES (sodium lauryl sulphates or sodium laureth sulphates), petrochemicals, mineral oils, synthetic colours and dyes, parabens, EDTA’s, propylene glycols, or any other synthetic chemicals in our products. We are committed to using only the finest, freshest and fair-trade friendly 100% pure and natural ingredients that are skin and hair loving and beneficial.
